Nicolas Notarianni was born on May 31st 1980 in France from an Italian family. He first studied the cornet and then the trumpet at the age of 6 at the conservatory.
At the still young age of 9, he started playing guitar along with his brother.
At the age of 11, he frequently wore Joe Satriani's "The Extremist Tour 91" promotional T-shirt during his trumpet lessons which rather preoccupied his teacher.
At the age of 12, he left the conservatory and discovered some of his greatest idols such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Van Halen and Nuno Bettencourt. This new passion led him to start learning the guitar by himself.
Then, Nicolas started playing with several bands together with his brother. They covered songs from Joe Satriani, Extreme or Metallica...
At the age of 16 he discovered the growing fame of the band Dream Theater through their album "Awake", released while he was still studying at college.
In 2001 his studies were over and he decided to devote his time to his first love and study musicology.
In June 2002, after working on several demos, he decided to set a progressive metal band called "Instant".
In April 2006, he recorded his first instrumental demo tracks performing five of his original compositions, while working at the same time with Instant and several other musical projects.
In September 2007 Nicolas met the members of Sensitive To Light (CYCLOPS RECORD).
In March 2008, he decided to leave the band to devote himself to his first instrumental album "One Life Is Not Enough".
In September, 2008, French virtuoso Patrick Rondat thanked Nicolas for the tribute he paid to him in his album.
In November 2009, the eminent company Mayones Guitars & Basses endorses Guitarsnake and crafts two guitars for him. With them, he will start writing his second album "Around The World"
January 2010 will be invited on the compilation "MELODIC SOLOIST - 17 Melodic Virtuoso" which is also Mr.FastFinger. The compilation will be one of best sales year in American distributor "Guitar Nine"
October 2010 endorsement by the mark Two Notes Audio Engineering, he participated in the 3rd edition of salon music "Music & You 2010" before releasing their second album "Around The World" (March 2011) signed to Mad Guitar Records (Finland).
April 2011, he was invited on the draft Guitar Addiction, a great musical project that involves more than 50 guitar players (including some big names of the electric guitar).
